Calvery is the place where Jesus was crucified. It is also known as Golgotha (Luke 23:33). Golgotha in Hebrew means skull, better known as the place of the skull.
Elijah challenges 450 prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. Israel had been in drought for 3 years. In the third year of the drought, Elijah went to Samaria to see King Ahab (1 Kings 18:1-3). Elijah rebukes Ahab for worshiping the gods of Sidon (Baal and Asherah). He told Ahab to assemble the children of Israel along with the prophets of the Baals on Mount Carmel. There he tells the people to make up their minds who they would serve (1 Kings 18:16-24).
Mount Sinai is where Moses met with God and God gave him the Ten Commandments in (Exodus 20:1-20); (Deuteronomy 5:5-21). Exodus 3:1 identifies Mount Horeb (Sinai) as being in Midian.
