Exodus 10:9 celebration

The older people were to instruct them how to sacrifice and as they were the heads of each family they were to perform it; the young were to go so they would be trained and accustomed to religious services.
It was a solemn feast in which every age and sex were to partake.
They were to take all their livestock with them because they did not know which were to be sacrificed and which were to be used to serve the Lord until they came to the place they were to offer the sacrifice (Exodus 10:26).
The feast required all to be present (old, young, men, women and children). Moses made it perfectly clear to Pharoah who was to go. National celebrations were attended by everyone.
