Problems

 The culture we live in puts pressure on families to violate God's word. It is greater now than at any other time in history because of mass media that fill us up with ideas that chip away at family life by telling everyone that illicit sex is o.k. and by telling people nobody stays committed to a troubled marriage. They tell us it's better for the kids to be with one parent rather than have them live in an enviorment of constant arguments, or they say happiness comes from being successfull financially, They tell us husband and wife must both work and that their carrers come first before anything else. In other words they are telling us how we should live our lives. There is no wonder husbands and wives are continually argueing. The devil will do anything he can to destroy the family. Ephesians 6:11 tells us to put on the whole armour of God, and 1 Peter 5:8 tells us the devil is our advesary prowling around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour. We are not to be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). We should have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). God did not promise that our lives would be easy " We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22). So you see, there will always be hurdles that we as Christians must overcome in this life here on earth.
