In order to understand the meaning behind the popular song, Let it be by the Beatles, The song came together when Paul McCartney had a dream about his admired and deceased mother, named Mary. In it, she helped him through a particularly hard time in his life and gave him one simple piece of advice, “let it be”. For that reason, the line, “When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me,” is solely about Paul’s mother. And with that, he created the stunning song that many love to this day.
