Provide for the family

1 Timothy 5:8 says "But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel".
This means that anyone who does not provide for his own family, whether it be for his wife and children, or aged parents, has practically denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever. A man should make a point to know the needs of his family.
Proverbs 24:12 says " If thou sayestbehold we knew it not; doth not he that ponderth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works"?
This means that God searches the heart (not brain) and knows every thought of it, and every excuse the heart makes, God knows whether it is an excuse or not. Such excuses may be acceptable to man, but God knows the heart whether these excuses are legitimate or not.
