Muhammad

Muhammad was born April 22, 571 AD, d. 632 AD. During that period of time the NT church had little influence in Arabic countries, even as it is today. However, Muhammad did come into contact with Christianity and Judaism as a young man during a trading trip (he was a camel driver for his uncle) to Syria and Palestine. That is why you can see the influence of both Judaism and Christianity in his writings. (Source, Earle E. Cairns, "Christianity Through the Centuries," 167. Almost any history of the times will tell you this information.)
