Inanna/Ishtar

Inanna was a Sumerian (ancient Iraq) goddess of fertility, sex, and war who became known in later Mesopotamia as Ishtar. Associated with the planet Venus and lions, Inanna was a powerful female deity who in retaliation for having been raped by a gardener while sleeping under a tree, caused huge storms, turned rivers to blood, and cast disease among the people, before hunting down her violator and killing him. What is more, in the  Epic of Gilgamesh, when King Gilgamesh rejected her advances she released “the Bull of Heaven” to maul him?
The Bull of Heaven is the constellation we call Taurus. He is controlled by the sky god Anu. The Bull of Heaven appears in the Epic of Gilgamesh. After Gilgamesh upsets the goddess Ishtar, she convinces her father Anu to send the Bull of Heaven to earth to destroy the crops and kill people.

4 Phenomenal Events that Happened when Jesus Died (Session 12 – Matthew 27:41-52)

4 Phenomenal Events that Happened when Jesus Died (Session 12 – Matthew 27:41-52): “They crucified him” (John 19:1). He wasn’t the first to die on a cross—it’s been estimated that by the time of Christ the Romans had crucified 30,000 men in Palestine alone. Nor would He be the la…

Salvation

A person who has establish true salvation can lose it as easily and as quickly as they obtained it. In the letter written named Hebrews. which is written to many churches throughout the land (meaning it is written to the saved not the lost) There is a Key writing here that Paul is telling the Church (Bride of Christ) Hebrews 6:4-6 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit,
5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, ( Does this sound like Saved people? ) Now note the very start of verse 6. If they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame ( A person has to first have what is needed in order to Fall away from it) This passage begs the question, “How can one be ‘enlightened’ and fall away?” It is speaking of someone losing his salvation. 1 Timothy 4:1 “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.” ( Again another letter is written to the Church (The Saved) Rev. 3 shows that a person name can be taken out of the book of life as well as it went in it at one time. Revelation 3:5 “He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.”
Revelation “And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.”

TEACHING

One of the most far-reaching and fatal lies of Satan is the fallacious teaching that man can merit eternal life by doing good works. Satan knows that the only way God saves sinners is by grace alone (Eph. 2:5). He also knows when anything is added to God's grace, such as good works, human effort, law-keeping or religious rituals, it nullifies saving grace (Rom. 11:6; Gal. 2:21). In fact, when anyone adds anything to God's justifying grace, they remain dead in their sins. The only way a helpless, hopeless, and deserving sinner can be saved is by God's unmerited, undeserved grace and mercy (Titus 3:5). They must come to the cross of Christ with empty hands of faith, bringing nothing but their sins. This is the only way they can experience the greatest exchange in human history - their sin for Christ's righteousness (2 Cor. 5:21).
Wrong Timing with The Wrong Motivation for Good Works
The timing and motivation for good works is of utmost importance.
Scripture declares that any righteous deeds done prior to justification are filthy rags in the sight of our Holy God (Isa. 64:6). Therefore, if someone's motivation for doing good works is to become right with God, they cannot be justified. Anyone who seeks to establish their own righteousness by good works is ignorant of God's righteousness (Rom. 10:1-4). Yet, the Roman Catholic Church teaches that good works are necessary for justification and condemns anyone who says they are justified by faith alone (Council of Trent ).

Calvinism

There is no logical conclusion that MY God, the God that set up salvation so that the free gift is available to 100% and 100% are able to receive or reject as they freely choose, failed at anything. Again, an easily dismissed false accusation.
Christ is a bridge that repairs the breach between man and God. A bridge is successful if all cross or none cross. a Bridge is successful if all can cross. Christ's success is not measured by the number saved. If it were, then Calvinism is the worst failure of all, because it prohibits further success!
Centuries ago in India, gangs of murderers and bandits roamed the country looking for victims to ritualistically strangle and bury. One third of the loot stolen from their victims was dedicated to the goddess Kali, whom they worshiped. The Hindi word for these zealots was "thag," from an older word meaning “cheat” or “swindler.” The British authorities began a campaign to arrest and prosecute the "thags," and by 1900 the murderous religious sect was nonexistent. Their name lives on today in our word for “ruffians, cutthroats, or gangsters”: "thugs."

Moses’ Law (10 Commandments Included) Has Been Done Away In Christ
The 10 Commandments were written and engraved on stones. Ex 32:15,16 The new covenant of Christ, on the other hand, was “written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in tables that are hearts of flesh” 2 Cor. 3:3 Furthermore, what was written on stone (the 10 Commandments), was a killing law, i.e., led to death because of human disobedience, while the new covenant of the Spirit is a life-giving ministration 2 Cor. 3:7 In that same context, Paul says that this old covenant has passed away; it has been replaced by that which possesses a greater and superior glory 2 Cor.3:11 The law of Moses has been abolished: “. . . having abolished in the flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, so making peace Eph. 2:15 Christ, through his cross, “blotted out the bond written in ordinances” of the old law:” “Having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross” Col. 2:14 The Sabbath law, along with the rest of Moses’ law, was taken away by the cross of Jesus.
The Sabbath Law Was Given To Hebrews Only
The Sabbath was given to the Hebrews to help them remember their own experience in Egypt: “And you shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and Jehovah thy God brought you out from there by a mighty hand, and by an outstretched arm: therefore Jehovah your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day” Deut. 5:15 It was a unique sign between God and the children of Israel: “Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath through-out their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days Jehovah made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed” Exod. 31:16-17 The Jews were to remember the Passover on the Sabbath, even as Christian are to remember the Lord’s death on Sunday. The Sabbath was never for Gentiles, nor was it ever practiced by the church.
The Sabbath Law Was Formally Given At Sinai And Not At The Creation
The Sabbath law was first mentioned when God fed Israel with manna from heaven and was formally given by Moses to Israel at Sinai. Nehemiah states: Ex 16 “You came down also upon mount Sinai, and spoke with them from heaven, and gave them right ordinances and true laws, good statutes and commandments, and made known unto them thy holy Sabbath, and commanded them commandments, and statutes, and a law, by Moses your servant” Neh. 9:13-14 Moses, who revealed the Sabbath to the people at Sinai, explained its having been “hallowed” by God in his narrative about the creation in Genesis 2:1-3. However, is noteworthy that none of the patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, etc.) ever observed the Sabbath. It is because God never established it with them, but rather with Israel after they escaped Egypt, crossed the Red Sea, and entered into the wilderness. Moses wrote, “The Lord made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.” Deut 5:3
Sabbath Observance Was Forbidden To Gentile Christians
Paul warned Christians not to be entangled again in a yoke of bondage Gal. 5:1, but to continue in the freedom from the law of Moses which Jesus had wrought upon the cross. Since circumcision was the main issue in Galatians, other facts are often ignored, such as his condemnation of observance of the Jewish holy days: “You observe days, and months, and seasons, and years. I am afraid of you, lest by any means I have bestowed labor upon you in vain” Gal. 4:10-11 The Sabbath was one of those Jewish holy days to which he makes reference. Paul feared that, just as these Gentiles had once been servants of idolatrous gods, they would now serve the false apostles who had invaded their number, make themselves subservient to the entire law, and ultimately sever themselves from Christ and his grace.
Christians Are Not To Be Judged By Jewish Laws
Paul stated it clearly when he said, “Let no man, therefore, judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day: which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ’s” Col. 2:16-17 If we are judged by Christ according to his gospel, and we shall be come the judgment, then it is conclusive that the Sabbath is not a part of the gospel of Christ. Rom 2:16 If any preaches any other gospel, they shall be accursed. Gal 1:6-9 Anyone who justifies themselves by the law of Moses have fallen from grace. Gal 5:4
Christians Are To Worship On Sunday
This was the day of our Lord’s resurrection John 20:1 It was the day upon which early Christians assembled to worship and commemorate the Lord’s death and resurrection Acts 20:7 On this same day they gave of their means 1 Cor. 16:1-2. In the Old Testament, the Sabbath was a day of holy convocation and assembly Lev. 23:3 New Testament Christians were never seen observing this day or meeting in such convocations, except to teach and convert Jews in the Synagogue to Christianity. Christians worshiped on Sunday, since Sabbath celebration ended for them with the Lord’s death on the cross. Sunday was the day we remember the Lord’s death, and the great sacrifice that he gave for us that we might have eternal life.1 Cor 11:24-26

Wake up and smell the coffee

Ignorance is scary and has consequences.
History has a way of repeating itself. We ignore the lessons of the Bolshevik revolution, Castro 's Cuba, Mao's China, the Killing Fields of Cambodia and the collapse of Venezuela at our own peril.
Our government was founded on the principles of individual rights and freedom. The role of our government is to protect the rights and freedoms of the individual as expressed among others in religion, speech, private property and free enterprise, encouraging the power of self-determination.
The right for the individual to pursue life, liberty and happiness is promised in the Declaration of Independence. The role of government was predicated on protecting these rights
Yet, the same people who decry and dismiss our Founding Fathers for their misperceived lack of resolve against slavery are leading the country in a march toward slavery.
Socialism cannot work without the state being in control. We the people become vassels or slaves to the state. The state tells us what is good for us economically, socially and culturally.
Personal freedom is subjugated to the needs of the masses as determined by the state. Differing opinions and convictions are corralled and derided as hate speech.
Those who espouse ideas contrary to what is politically correct are isolated, berated and vilified. This is among the first steps in training the masses in the power of group think and the mindset of slavery.
Slaves are struck down if they challenge the master. People are enslaved when they are scared to express dissenting opinions. We need to wake up to hear the chains rattling.

Prophets

No Prophets in the Bible owned churches and controlled finances of the church. God always raised a Prophet within His people, for a specific purpose. In most cases, God sent Prophets to give a message of warning or rebuke to his people.
Modern Prophets who own churches and control finances, and create for themselves wealth at the expense of the poor or the church, are not from God.

God's word

The Lord’s warning
The Lord warned that experiences can be deceiving:
“Many will say to Me in that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'” (Matt. 7:22-23).
Yes, they really had had these experiences. They had prophesied in Jesus’ name, they had cast out demons and done miracles in His name. The Lord does not deny that they had done these things. But then He tells them that even while they were doing these things, He had never ever known them. It is important that our faith be based on the Word of God and not on experiences because experiences can deceive us.
