The Philippines Ditches US Alliance for China | China Uncensored

Greek fire

On 1st September, 717 AD, the Muslim armada with 1,800 ships was defeated by the Byzantine navy through the use of Greek fire in the Siege of Constantinople. Greek fire, or sea fire, as it was often called, was said to be the secret weapon of the Byzantine Empire. According to the historian Theophanes, it was invented during the 6th century AD by the Greek architect Kallinikos, a former resident of Heliopolis who was residing in Baalbeck. It is described as a liquid chemical mixture that could be ignited and then sprayed or catapulted onto enemy ships. Its effects were devastating because this fluid could not be extinguished with water. In fact, it was said to be able to burn under water. It would cling to all materials and burn the flesh off the body of a man in seconds in a manner very similar to modern day phosphorus weapons. The formula was kept so secret that no one today knows how it was made, nor have scientists been able to recreate it using the ingredients available at the time.

A Watchman Report: The Point of No Return...

Traits of a personality cult leader

Democracy is most vulnerable when times are hard. People tend to elect tough talking “strong men,” like Hitler, Putin, Hussein, and Duterte, who eventually turn their Democratic Republics into totalitarian dictatorships. These kinds of leaders always find scapegoats for the uneducated masses to fear, hate, and blame for all the county’s problems. Of course these kinds of “strong men” leaders keep the outward forms of democracy as they wage war against insurgents, drugs, crime, or whatever. Then, they claim that during times of war it’s necessary for the people to give up a few of their constitutional freedoms, such as freedom of the press, assembly, speech, religion, privacy, etc.It seems Duterte has chosen to scapegoat US special forces for his failure to irradicate the insurgents. He’s deflecting criticism of his own atrocities by accusing “the United States of committing atrocities against Muslims over a century ago on Jolo island.” Deflection, denial, and scapegoating is a typical method of “personality cult” leaders, no matter the form of government. Don’t think it can happen? It can. We are witnessing the rise of a “personality cult” leader right now.

The past

The Bible says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God," Roman's 3:23. We all have a past, a history of sin. The apostle Paul was helping murder Christians before Jesus called him and saved him. Peter was with Jesus 3 years and he cut a man's ear off and denied Christ 3 times, but God still used him. Each of the presidential candidates have sinned according to God's Word. The media has blown this up enough. It's time to focus on their vision for America. What do they stand for? How will they serve us? Where will they lead us? Too much of the debates have been centered on the past. What about our future? The Bible says that a man (or woman) without a vision will perish. What do the candidates stand for? Do they have a vision that you agree with or disagree with? This needs to be the focus of the next debate? We could talk about the past forever, but what about the future? Jesus made provision for all our futures when He died on the cross for our sins (past). I hope everyone focused on America will think about their own past and turn it over to Jesus by trusting Him as their Savior. Everyone needs to make plans for their eternal future, because when we stand before God this world won't matter!

10 Powerful Prayers the Apostle Paul Prayed Over God's People

10 Powerful Prayers the Apostle Paul Prayed Over God's People

Atheist

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness (Rom 1:18)
"There’s no such thing as an atheist according to God. Everyone knows that He exists. Deniers just prefer to “suppress [that] truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18). In other words, the problem is never a lack of evidence for God, but rather a consuming love of sin." -- John MacArthur

Wisdom

Homosexual Versus Wisdom
Okay for a moment, let's leave the religious views of homosexual out of the equation.
And let's compare it against wisdom.
Can two men sleeping together produce a child? Wisdom says no.
Can two women sleep together produce a child? Again wisdom says no.
Definition of sex. Sex (sµks) n. 1.a. The property or quality by which organisms are classified as female or male on the basis of their reproductive organs and functions. b. Either of the two divisions, designated female and male, of this classification. Wisdom :You need to have one male and one female in order for this definition to be satisfied. So if two males or two females are trying to have a sexual act this is called perversion not sex in other words there mines are perverted. Definition of per•vert•ed (p…r-vûr“t¹d) adj. 1. Deviating from what is considered right and correct. Wisdom:
When a child is born, the doctor will say congratulations you have a little boy, or you have a little girl. But once in a while. The news is not positive there may be a physical defect. But I have never heard a doctor say you got a little baby boy but he thinks he’s a little girl or hey you got a little girl, but she thinks she’s a little boy. How can you have a male body and in your mine you think you are a female? How can you have a female body and in your mine have a male body? (example) How can someone in reality be standing up but in there mine be laying down. If you prefer to believe a lie your probably beyond help. Now does it become a medical, mental or a religious problem? You make the call.

Fallow ground

There are three things about fallow ground we need to discover this morning. What is fallow ground? 1. Fallow ground is ground that was once productive but now lays waste . At one time it gave forth a bountiful harvest. Now it is desolate. Produces little more than weeds.. Hosea could identify with the need to break up the fallow ground.. He remembered Israel’s glorious past. The miraculous deliverance…the Red Sea crossing…the manna from heaven…the water from a rock…God’s wonderful watch care and presence. These were fading from memory…. Israel had sinned against a holy God. They had left their first love.. This straying away led to the prophet’s call. We can identify with the need for this call in our time as well. There are many in our society today trying to rewrite our history books. They try to deny our Godly heritage. But America was founded upon the belief in a holy and righteous God.. Our founding fathers were devoted, Christian men. Men of God who dared to take a stand for Christ. God richly blessed our nation because of this. We were blessed above all nations on the earth…just like Israel. Yet we too, have strayed…we too, have turned our backs on our Savior! But it’s not just in our nation. Sadly, our churches have grown cold as well. Many have become more interested in playing church than in changing lives. More interested in socials rather than souls. More interested in the corporation than the congregations. More interested in the windows than the widows. Caring more for the yard, than the youth.. All have become saints, rather than sinners saved by grace! Caring less and less about the lost that Jesus died for!!!. What used to be a great harvest field has become fallow ground.. What does Fallow Ground Produce? Fallow ground produces thorns and thistles.(Mat 13:22) He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.. The seed (in this case the Word of the Lord) has to fall upon good soil in order to be fruitful.
How many of you raise gardens?. How successful will you be if you just open the back door and throw the seed out on the ground?. Would you bank your crop on that kind of preparation?. The seed must go into a soil that has been ripped up and sifted through if it is to have a chance of producing fruit. Yet so many times we attempt to raise Christians in God’s garden the same way.. A heart has to be tender to accept the seed and become fruitful. Jesus, (picturing Himself) said: “(Joh 12:24) Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.. We as faithful sowers of the Word must seek out tender hearts that will grasp onto this great promise.. Secondly, Fallow Ground produces the root of bitterness.Heb 12:14-15 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;. As we gather in God’s house and sing songs like Sweet, Holy Spirit, we must constantly guard against one of Satan’s favorite tools to use against Christians, and that is bitterness!. And be aware! This tool is most often used against those who are working in the church.. Lack of cooperation can lead one to disappointment.
d. Lack of results can lead to bitterness.. Jealousy and bitterness often go hand in hand.. No matter what the cause, there is no more harmful thing in God’s house than bitterness of soul.. Notice in Heb 12:15 at the end of the verse…and thereby many be defiled.. If you have become bitter toward a fellow Christian, or towards the church, or even towards God, your heart has become fallow ground, and the ground that once was fruitful and pleasant has become useless and barren. This happened to Israel ,dont make the same mistake and let it happen to you .

Isaiah 5: 20,21

Today, in this twisted world of ours . . . .
- Girls can be boys
- Boys can be girls
- Muslims are pacifists
- Christians are terrorists
- The devil is God
- God is the devil
- Babies can be killed
- Animals should be saved
- Lust is love
- Justice is bad
- Evil is good, and
- Good is evil
"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!" (Isaiah 5:20-21 ESV)

Temples

Yes Christians bodies are temples and the Holy Spirit dwells in them. We are to honor God with our bodies (1 Corithians 6:19-20). God created our bodies, God the son redemed them and The Holy Spirit of God dwells in them. Our bodies are the temple of God.                                                                                                                                      Non- Christians do not have the Holy Spirit in them (Romans 8:9). Their bodies are not the temple of God. The best thing we can do for our own bodies is make them into one. We can do this by placing faith and trust in Jesus. When you do this Gods spirit dwells in us (1Corinthians 12:13). Salvation is guaranteed for us (Ephesians 1:13-14). We are to honor God with our bodies as they are not our own. Paul told the Christians at Corinth that they were indeed bought with a price. Jesus did not buy our bodies with silver or gold or any pershible thing. He paid the price by dying on the cross for us

Jesus

It seems that our world is really messed up. Corruption in government, violence in the streets, immorality is praised, and people dont know what sex they are. The Bible prophesied things would be really messed up in the last days. I look forward to the return of Jesus. It could be any day, but as believers He expects us to tell the world how He can save them from this mess and our sins. He offers us a much better place that will last forever.

Thomas Sowell - Parallels To Rome

John Stossel - Gender Confusion

Enemy

It is a reality that we have an enemy that is prowling around like a lion who would like to harm us. We do not have to be fearful or paranoid about this, but it is helpful to be aware of his opposition. In this promise found in Isaiah, God makes the promise that no weapon that is formed against us by any enemy will prosper. He goes on to say that every tongue that judges us will be condemned. It is encouraging to be reminded that God is on our side and He is fighting for us. No matter what or who opposes us, our Father promises to be with us through every storm and protect us by His great power. This is the heritage of the Lord. This is our birthright! ...To live under the protection of the Most High (Psalm 91).
I realize that this does not mean that we are completely insulated from trials in life. Jesus said in John 16:33 that as long as we are in this world, we will experience trouble. Praise God though that Jesus has overcome the world! When I think of any opposing forces that are against me, whether they are earthly or demonic, I take great comfort in this promise from my Father... No weapon that has been created for my harm will succeed against me! That is my inheritance and it is your inheritance too!

Knowledge explosion

History
In the past 100 years, there has been a literal explosion in the increase of knowledge.
The invention of electricity, automobiles, airplanes, and computers have all taken place
in our generation.

The Hebrew word for “increase” (ra^ba^h) implies not only the addition of knowledge but also a multiplication or knowledge that is increasing exponentially. This is so
much of an exact prophecy that knowledge is now
presently doubling every twenty-two months.

Daniel uses the words “time of the end”. This increase in knowledge explosion has
happened in the same century as the rebirth of Israel.

Scriptures
Daniel 12:4 Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end:
many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Matthew 16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and
lowering. O you hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can you not discern the signs of the times

Sexism

Sexism is one gender, usually male, having dominance over the other gender, usually female. The Bible contains many references to women that, to our modern mindset, sound discriminatory towards women. But we have to remember that when the Bible describes an action, it does not necessarily mean that the Bible endorses that action. The Bible describes men treating women as little more than property, but that does not mean God approves of that action. The Bible is far more focused on reforming our souls than our societies. God knows that a changed heart will result in a changed attitude.
